A portfolio of thirty-two mounted black & white photographs of peoples of Egypt, Sudan, and Uganda living along the Nile. The copy at the Afrian Art Museum Library is lacking two of the photos. The portfolio is made of paper and cloth housing photographs of a 1932 African Safari. The volume is number 151 of a limited edition produced for friends. portfolio consisting of pictorial boards with cloth spine and flaps (new cloth preserving original boards), 16 pages of text bound in printed wrappers, together with 32 photogravure illustrations, each mounted on a sheet of heavy paper (each mount is numbered and fitted with a tissue guard), housed together in the portfolio.

Vennemann war professioneller Fotograf und Mitglied einer Propagandakompanie. Die Bilder zeigen Deportationen von Juden. Die letzte Fotoserie entstammt dem sogenannten „Auschwitz-Album“ und zeigt die Ankunft ungarischer Juden im Frühjahr 1944 in Auschwitz.
