After an invitation from the Dutch support movement in 1974, Angola Comité photojournalist Koen Wessing visited Guinea Bissau. At that time, the liberation movement PAIGC controlled three quarters of the country. One year later ‘Djarama PAIGC’ (“Thank you PAIGC”) was published to celebrate the first year of the unilateral declaration of independence.
