One of the spearhead causes FRELIMO pursued was the liberation of women. ‘Mulheres Moçambicanas’was issued by the OMM (The Organization of Mozambican Women) – an organization that was created as recognition for the fact that women played a large role in the national liberation struggle and later, the reconstruction of liberated Mozambique.
